Tell me what you really think.

Gravatar Oh goodie. I LOVED the original Nitendo with Super Mario Bros. too! great game...

Gravatar Before Ninetendo, there was ATARI. I rocked the house on Atari. I could play all of those games so well, they actually got a little boring after a while. But man, do I have great hand-eye-coordination or what?!

Gravatar I think you must have been the coolest mom around. We were the least popular kids back in the day because OUR MEAN MOM didn't let either nintendo or attari in the house.

Thanks so much for stopping by today!

Gravatar What a cool teacher! And mom!

Gravatar Gee, I remember being excited when I discovered this cool new thing called "Pong" in the pinball arcade.

Gravatar Wow!

I never played Nintendo before, but I use to play games on my dads old Commodore 64, which was so cool! Does that make me the Commodore King?

I hope you had a nice weekend, Mamacita!

Gravatar In the days of Atari we weren't even *that* cool - we had a Texas Instruments game "system". My fav was always the orginal Nintendo, though. My parents still have one, and we occasionally break out some games.

My hubby has an X-box, so I never see him. But at least the frees up the computer for me.

Gravatar I still have trouble with Pong.

Gravatar What would I give for my kids to have a teacher like you! Great idea!

BTW, my 9yo has just bought a Nintendo DS and a Super Mario game... spent all of the cash he got for his b-day four months ago, plus a few months' worth of allowance... he waited since December for the DS's to be in stock... not sure what he sees in it, but he's the happiest kid on Earth now.

Now I have the Mario music running in my head... oh great!

Gravatar You are the kind of teacher that changes lives! Methinks I am one of those mean moms mentioned by Wavybrains. Oh, well..."Mama tried!"~Merle Haggard

Gravatar If you were the Queen, I was the princess. My husband and I spent hours and hours trying to conquer the highest, fastest level in Dr. Mario. And we did. *proud*

We also played the first Mario Brothers game over and over and over. (and a few others)

Gravatar I LOVED my NES when I first got it back in the day. Many a night was spent staying up all night, usually trying to beat another level in Zelda or Wizards and Warriors.

Someone on another blog posted a link to a site which has every NES and SEGA console game available to play online via Java applet. It's cool, but you can't save games obviously.

Gravatar Nintendo Queen you ROCK!

Gravatar Would you believe that my son & his college suitemates are going retro and playing Mario at all hours? But I'll bet none of them can rescue the princess in 10 minutes!

Gravatar Mario is retro now? My god, what does that make me? In college I finally had to post rules regarding Tetris playing in my room. Like "no one may enter the Tetris room after midnight". I played so much I dreamt Tetris. ANYWAY. You are the coolest teacher ever, Mamacita. When I finally get back to the classroom, I am stealing this idea. I dare parents to complain!

Gravatar I loves me some Super Nintendo...I've still got one that I *blush* actually still play once in awhile.

HEY, we had cubes back then too...Rubik's Cubes. I STILL haven't mastered that one.

Gravatar What a great story! Teacher by day. Nintendo Queen by night! You sound like a superheroine
