Tell me what you really think.
Hey, on behalf of all the students that do what we're supposed to (i.e. come to class on time, every time... do the assignments right, the first time... take notes, participate in discussions, etc...) I thank you. It pisses me off when professors cater to the "part time students/full-time partiers" and allow them to earn the same grades WE do... and it makes the rest of us who take our academics seriously, feel like we're wasting our time.
But, what about the flying monkeys?

The flying monkeys were innately good, remember; they were only mean because their teacher forced them to be mean. When they had a GOOD teacher, even the flying monkeys straightened up and were glad to do so.
I'm in class. They're taking a test and then they're evaluating me. A flying monkey would be good company while I'm killing time right now.
Well I cannot remember evaluating teachers (but then again I'm old)

Amen! I've had parents give me grief over this. I refuse to consider "hockey practice" a good reason to skip class. I want to come work with you!

I am so sick and tired of signing project forms from my kid's school. Yes. At my kid's school they will send home this full page information sheet about some project with all the details outlined and I have to sign it and send it back. Why should I sign it? I don't want to know anything about HER project or any of her work. I just need to know that it's been done and that she's passing at her potential. I'm not going to do these projects and I won't be the one getting grounded for not doing it!
