Tell me what you really think.

Gravatar I had tried the Madeleine L'Engle books before, and just couldn't get in to them. But upon YOUR hearty recommendation, I shall endeavor to give them another shot.

Gravatar I'm on it! Thanks for passing it on!

Last year for my 9yo's book exchange, I bought "A Wrinkle in Time"... I got halfway through before I had to wrap it and send it to school... it was good! I should probably read more.

Gravatar Goldie...read all three in the trilogy: A Wrinkle In Time, A Swiftly Tilting Planet and A Wind in the Door.

Also - A Ring of Endless Light...outstanding!

And, of course, the obvious - Chronicles of Narnia by C. S. Lewis.

Beloved friends from my childhood!

Gravatar I obviously need to hit the bookstore...

Gravatar When I was quite young my grandparents took me to P.E.I for vacation and we toured L.M. Montgomery's house. There was a staff member there dressed like Anne of Green Gables and in my seven year old I know everything logic I was quite certain that was indeed Anne.

I walked up to her and said "hello I am Michele we can be friends." She sweetly agreed. For many years I would tell anyone who would listen that I was friends with Anne of Green Gables.

The fact that you are reading Jane of Latern Hill gives me the oppourtunity to say....

I am a friend of Anne.

Thank you for giving me that oppourtunity to share that.

Gravatar Hehe Annie, I have just about every book ever written by C.S.Lewis! He is my hero.

I'll definitely follow your advice re: Madeleine L'Engle...

Gravatar GASP!

me?

wow... thanks!!!! i hardly know what to say...

I mean, other than:

I'm not worthy... I'm not worthy... I'm not worthy...
