Good luck! The joys and woes of country living, right?
Hint: My in-laws keep netting over their blueberry bushes.

Ohhhhh!!! I used to have a shag bark hickory tree in my yard, they are so pretty! I hate squirrels. My friend Chrissy has a family of them living in her attic that drive her insane. Sorry you suffer migraines, I do too, what a bitch. Hope you are feeling better!

Wow...talk about inuendos.
"Hide your nuts"
Beautiful mounds
"little ritualistic dances"
"nibble on the neighbor's geraniums"
"Eat my flowers"
I see right through your inoccent facade.

There's just no fooling Muzik. At least I didn't plant any peonies or cockle shells, huh.

My lilies are all gone to the munching habits of the deer, the tulips (which are just now blooming) to the squirrels...I just buy corn for the squirrels now, it's cheaper and pretend that come next hunting season, the bambis will thin out...yeah, you betcha!

I'll have a talk with Bambi, but you know, he's got that whole "why the crap did they give me a GIRL'S name" attitude going on and relly hasn't listened to anyone for years...

You could try hanging tinsel strands, or a cheap transistor radio from the tree to keep the deer away, but it might keep the bird and squirrels away too.

I was reduced to buying coyote piss online and dribbling it all around the flower beds- then the place smelled really great. And the cats refused to go out so I was stuck with the littler box all summer. So- I gave up and decided strawberries are really only nice for the flowers.

My mom has the same problem. She has resorted to covering her flowers with chicken wire to keep the deer out.
I WOULD have that problem, if I were to plant flowers. But I can't keep them alive long enough to feed the area wildlife, so I figure why bother.
