I haven't seen the new Star Wars yet, basically as I am terrified it's going to be even worse than the previous two I LOVED the first one (that is, the REAL 1st one in 1978, not the NEW 1st one in 1999 or something...)
With a 13 y/o I am sure I shall be feeling the Force quite soon though.

Actually, it was Luke Starkiller, not Skykiller.

The movie was better than I expected but then my expectations had gotten extremely low. It was worthwhile and tied up some loose ends nicely.

How about when Annakin meets up with Padme for the first time in the movie -- did you catch her hairdo? Classic Princess Lea! And yes, I think Ewan was perfectly cast for Obi-Wan.

I just wish Jar Jar was never conceived. I still can't bear to watch Episode I due to that dumb character.

Some of the parts were kinda ridiculous though... like the "NOOOO" at the end.
Ewan was perfectly cast for Obi-Wan, no doubt about that.
I linked your site from my blog, hopefully you could do the same. Thanx.

Its good to see George Luca remain consistent in making complete on screen crap. It was the best of the last three but still complete crap. My hats do go off to the guys at ILM for the eye candy, quality renderings and attention to detail. Its in fact unfortunate that Lucas had to place scenes between the eye candy that showed his inability to direct. I have seen those actors perform well in other movies so this leads me to believe its crap directing. Good ol' Anakin stomps around like a brooding grounded kid while the Princess goes from a confident woman who dealt with speaking as a member of a galactic senate to a whimpering knocked up teenager. Lucas.. I WANT MY nine bucks back... .... Oh.. here via micheles meet n greet!
cheers

Well, now I may need to see it. I've been thinking nothing could top seeing Return of the Jedi 25 years ago when Dan was a not-yet-awake nursing newborn- but Ewan McGregor? Jimmy Smits? Tempting- and it is a long weekend.
Glad the flowers are still thriving. I was thinking you would be a good candidate for the Lawnba (or Mowba, I haven't settled on the name)- a mowing robot. Cheers!
