hello and picasa work pretty good for posting pictures. a lot of people use flickr and I have no clue how it works.
It is better on Movable Type(read that easier for me who doesn't know what he's doing).
I don't really know why, but I have a pretty good collection of McDonalds and Burger King pictures from Europe and South America. It just strikes me as odd that they are popular there too. And Starbucks.
I don't remember/didn't see the McDonalds around the Pantheon but that building sneaks up on you, you are walking around just stuff, nothing interesting(well it's Rome so it's not completely uninteresting) and then wow, there's the Pantheon. Like who put that here?

Yes, I will never stop worrying either. I know that mine are very small still. My youngest already has wanderlust.
That is what I am dreading and my princess is only 12, I can't imagine being able to let her go, but I suppose we must and just have to worry anyways.

You're never too old to be a mommy of that little turned big girl. Good job mom for letting her live her dreams though.
Traveling is our chance to escape momentarily from the asylum.
The only question is why we keep coming back.

Ah- I love this young woman! Can't imagine where she got all that spunk and spirit. I can relate on the worry front; I have one who is often lost in an ocean blue hole or living in the forest canopy on a high ropes course. She hasn't found Europe yet- I live in fear.
I've been using Typepad for the 3 months I've been posting and they make picture posting a breeze. Don't know anything about any of the other hosts. But we definitely want pictures.
Your daughter sounds like so much fun, what great experiences she's having. but I know what you mean. Mine is good about calling me all the time.
For posting pictures on "Blogger" they recommend you use "Hello". I use it and it's really easy.
I love your description of your wanderlust daughter — and your care for her as she grows and travels.
Maybe if I had a Mom like you I woulda had a life like Belle's! Quelle dommage.
