Tell me what you really think.

Gravatar Interesting. Thanks for sharing the unique culture of your neck of the woods. No really, it beats a painted cow. Right?

Michele sent me.

Gravatar Indiana is a treasure trove of all things artistic. Hell, some of all that culture oozes over the border here in Ohio! I love yard art.

Gravatar How about a picture of the NASCAR sculpture(?). The ones you have up are great!

Gravatar It's almost worth the drive to see the fleas. I assume they are taxidermied and not trying to eek out a blood sucking lviing in those get ups. Love the limstone pictures; this post reminds me that I liked "Breaking Away."

Gravatar At least you HAVE some identifiable native art. Here, it's all modern weird stuff that looks like a third grader having a tantrum did it. I'll take Easter Island over modern art any day!

Gravatar My ex works right around the corner from Indiana Limestone (for their chief competitor.) I know the statues well. My favorite limestone carving is the curved one in People's Park... or at least, it used to be in people's park. My best friend and I used to park our rumps their every Saturday night.

Gravatar I'd love the stern-faced head in my yard.... It's a good comeback for the people who think I should make my landscape better!

Gravatar Uhm is that public property? If so, i need a map.

Gravatar Love the Moai!

Gravatar "Folk Art" That's interesting...the real American culture, eh? Or a part of it, anyway. I like this post.

Gravatar Funny, I never really thought about the limestone carvings as art...maybe because i live here in Bedford i am a bit jaded to it all...will def have to rethink my thinking on it.
