Tell me what you really think.

Gravatar Does that mean I can insult people, as long as I sign my own addy?? Oh, the fun I could have!! I really enjoyed the interview at Muzikdude's, soem stuff I didn't know since I haven't been reading very long.

Gravatar yay!!!

u like bradbury, too?

yay!!!

and kuddos on the rest of the stuff...

Gravatar Great interview at Muzik's place. The Illustrated Man was my Bradbury favorite. Have a wonderful weekend!

Gravatar You and Muzik made quite a pair in the old interview dealie bob. That was lots of fun.

I second the motion about Jay and John. Mamacita ain't too bad, either.

Gravatar I LOVE your taste in YA fiction. ALthough I'm not in the Harry Potter target audience, I loved the books and plan to share them with my kids in a couple of years. Madeline L'Engle is wonderful and L.M. Montgomery is a gem! Everyone loves the Anne books but I read the Emily of New Moon trilogy into tatters!

So, if I were to major in YA fiction, what kind of job would I end up with?

Gravatar I still love the YA fiction too, I wish I had known there was such a major in college. I just reread To Kill A Mocking Bird, everyone should go read it again as an adult, truly magnificent. I also couldn't agree with you more about the Harry Potter series; my son dispises reading but those books hooked him and he has read every one, cover to cover, more than once. A lot like Laura Ingalls Wilder did to me once.
Have a good weekend.

Gravatar Who was hurtful to you???!!! Oh now 24.11.16.110 has messed with the wrong Mama eh? Don't let it get to you hon. There are always idiots in the world.

Gravatar Great interview at Muzik's! I too collect dust & display it where everyone can see it. It's a cheap hobby...

I see you've posted on Batman... must go read that...

Gravatar I think we have identical bookshelves! Did you know the Beany Malone books have been reprinted and the English and the American Streatfeild books have the same plot and characters but lots of the details are different?

Gravatar Hi, I haven't been around in awhile. I like your new layout. It was of course, the familiar words.. dime store. What was better in life than a hose, a dime store and penny candy?

Gravatar I'm a noobie come over after reading your interview with the Muzikdude. I've been hanging about reading your archives and laughing myself silly. I love your style.

I bought the first Harry Potter for my daughter before it became everyones favorite. She read that copy to bits after I read it to her the first time. I owe Ms. Rowling an enormous debt for getting my daughter interested in reading - now she devours books - any books just because she loves reading so much. And like my mother always said, "It doesn't matter what they are reading - comic books, childrens books or cereal boxes - every time they pick up a book they learn something".

Keep up the good work!

Gravatar Sounds like we were reading a lot of the same books as kids! I swear I only had kids so I'd have a good excuse to keep reading YA books (and buying them!)

Gravatar Someone was mean to you? That is awful!! What an ass clown:-(

I was just stopping by to say that I made your pork bbq last night and we all loved it! Another gold recipe!

Gravatar What about Ursula K. LeGuin? Frank Herbert? Silverberg? Heinlein?

Gravatar I love the books by Laura Ingalls Wilder, loved Little Women and I absolutely love the Harry Potter books. You and I will be good friends Thanks for stopping by my blog. I like yours I will blogroll you!

Gravatar Now i want to go and reread swallows and amazons! Have a great weekend
