Tell me what you really think.

Gravatar Ooooh. What's a dressed coney?

Gravatar JOhn aka Muzik dude wrote about your site so i came to read....
about the smoking I agree completely

Gravatar Mamacita, I love my hamburgers with pickles and mustard! Is this Snows a chain or just a one establishment deal? I don't, however, have the same feeling about shaved ice.... they gave me so many ice chips in the hospital during childbirth that I kind of have TSS over it. Thanks for making me giggle over the whole hose scene though.

Gravatar I smoke.

When I smoke, I try to get as far away from most other living things as possible. I'd like other people to do the same when they fart.

It is my understanding that they're both mostly detestable things to others.

it is, after all, my habit... there are few enough places in california where one can smoke (even outdoors) these days... probably for the better, too, but don't tell anybody I said so...

Hamburgers sound good... can't imagine they'd be better than good ole in-n-out, though...

darn it! now i'm hungry.

Gravatar YES YES I agree totally with you about the smoker. I too live in a small town where it reeked in the local establishment here. This being only one person who does this ..perhaps a little annonymous letter to the owner might help. It sure did here..first they divided the place for smokers and non smokers and when they saw which side was the busiest they went all non-smoking. Paid off too..the place is really busy now that it is "cleared" of the haze!

Gravatar One of the many things I miss about living in CA is the luxury of visiting a restaurant or a bar(!!) and not having to go home and pull a Silkwood.

I love how the restaurants here have a "non-smoking section".... uh, yeah, right.

Gravatar While I am a smoker, I wouldn't smoke in resteraunts, even if it was allowed. It's distasteful to others, especially if someone has asthma or allergies.

Gravatar I saw a sentence somewhere the other day that said 'having a smoking area in a restaurant is like having a peeing area in a swimming pool'. Exactly.

Gravatar Public smoking is one of the big reasons we came back to CA after being in OH for 2 years. I needed to be able to BREATHE. It doesn't even matter if I love a place to death--if anhyone is smoking, I have to leave.

I really don't understand why more states aren't adopting the no-smoking in public places laws. CA and NY proved it doesn't hurt businesses; if anything it helps.

Gravatar Ah, Snow's. I'll have to get there maybe once more before I move to the Bay State.

WF

Gravatar What kind of backward state you live in? In Oregon, smoking is prohibited in all indoor places except private residences and bars. Cancer Man would be paying $100 a pop for his tubes.

Gravatar mmmm shaved ice. That's why I'm excited about going to the hospital and visiting the best friend. Isn't that sad? I live for shaved ice. Oh yeah, and I agree with you on Cancer Man. I hate it when people smoke around me, and have had people do that in non-smoking areas. It annoys the hell out of me.

Gravatar Uuuuuummmm, that food sounds *divine*!

And Cancer man would have to eat outside here. Thank God for that, as all of my kids have asthma, and we'd be in the ER after that meal.

Gravatar Yup, here in beautiful California, you can't even smoke on the patios of restaurants. I don't think you can smoke within 500 feet of the entrance to a public building, either. I do love it here but I imagine smokers get a little cranky about it.

Gravatar I am a smoker.

I don't get cranky.

like pissing in the pool (to steal a good idea from up above) it's something my mommy taught me ought not to be done...

Gravatar Ew. And it makes my eyes burn and turns them fire engine red too. I think I notice smok a lot more now that I'm not exposed to it much.

Gravatar Ahhhh, Snow's...love the shaves ice. I think it is the last place it town where you can still get it. And there is a reason I eat in my car and utilize the carhops there! hard to believe that only 30 miles way there is a total NO SMOKING in and restaurant or bar and yet Indy can't get it passed...makes one go...hmmmmm.

Gravatar I used to puff down 3 packs a day. For almost 20 years.

Then I moved to 6200 feet and took up singing again. Smoking at high altitude i not conducive to decent vocal performance so I had to make a choice.

Given I could sing for free and was spending over $30 a week on smokes the choice to quit was more practical than moral or health conscious.

Gravatar I just woke up and read this. Now I don't want breakfast...I want a hamburger!! (Can you spare another bedroom for a visitor so we can go to Snow's?)

Gravatar Oh, those hamburgers sound great!

I am so with you on the smoking thing. It's the most offensive thing anyone can do around me.
