Tell me what you really think.

OH NO!!! Please be careful and know you are so special to all of us and your family..you really can't let it get that way again...NAg Nag..I know I can be terrible! Praying for ya always...Carol

Gravatar Sorry to hear about that.
Please take good care of yourself.

Gravatar What does the doctor say? You DID go to a doctor, didn't you? (You didn't? Go, please.)

Gravatar Mamacita! I go away for a few days and you're a sugar saturated, guilt-ridden, cranked up mess!
What Hoss said- talk with the doctor. They are good for some things and this is the kind of thing they help with. It's possibly, probably, a fluke elevation either because of stress and what you ate in the last 12 hours or the test kit- but, yikes, get it checked out.
Shame is only useful as long as it teaches you something- sounds like it's beyond that. Let it go? It's entirely possible that he's such a dolt it had far less impact on him than on you for saying it. Abby used to say:
Be nice-a youself!
Come see the leaves turn in Chelsea...

Gravatar (((Mamacita)))) Please take care of yourself!!

I know we don't know what you said, but I still think he deserved it.

Gravatar Yikes is right! 297 is MAJOR major. Get thee to the great physician. Pronto.

Gravatar Mamacita, PLEASE go to the doctor right now! You have read, I hope, what can happen to you when you have unchecked diabetes. If not, Google it.

Gravatar Yikes! As a grandchild and child of diabetes, and a future poster child, you need to get to the doctor. You were wise to check your levels, now take care of yourself with the knowledge.

Gravatar GO to the Doc before you make any rash judgements. It wouldn't hurt to keep a food journal. Or get a massage.
Love to you
Tish

Gravatar It's always better to rise above.

On the other hand...it sometimes behooves those in a leadership position to let the velvet glove slip a little, just for the sake of focus.

There are elements of society which find the arena of higher education uncomfortable. These same elements may find the whip and the jeer a familiar and helpful motivation down the road to becoming gentlemen and scholars.

Gravatar 297? Jeepers, Mamacita! Be careful with yourself. We need you!

Gravatar Great holy hounddogs! Please tell me you are going to keep a better eye on this.

This week one of my students with an insulin pump began to act like she was nodding off-- right in front of me. Started to react in teasing/sarcastic way, 'till I thought, "Wait a minute! Isn't she diabetic???"

So I interrupted a funny story about Thomas Jefferson to get her to the nurse-- she told me she hadn't tested her blood sugar all day because she ran out of test strips-- and her number was 380!

And then her dad told her to drive herself home. Nice.

Don't you be like that to yourself, now, hear?
