That's been making the rounds on the blogosphere. My money is on one or both of these girls pregnant by 17 - probably by someone of non-Aryan descent (karma being what it is). This whole story is sad on so many levels.

You know what? In the end, that crap will come back and bite them in the ass.
Consequences are best understood if they are lived with for a while.
Maybe longer than a while.
Someone should trace their family tree. There are precious few, if any, European bloodlines not mingled with either Asian, Middle Eastern, or African descendents. Europe was conquered too many times by too many different peoples for anyone to claim purity.

It is a real shame....picture them driving a beat up old SUV with faded BUSH ROCKS stickers on their 'held on with bailing wire' bumpers with a passel of kids bouncing around, bickering and hollerin' in the backseat while they drive to town to pick up their monthly WIC, USDA Food Stamp card and AFDC check because the postal service won't deliver mail to their family compound of vintage 1970's mobile homes anymore because of the unrestrained dawgs and the kids throwin' rocks at the letter carrier because the letter carriers ancestors did not immigrate here from someplace with lots of white people.
Will they teach their kids NOT to use an AK-47, because that is a commie made assult rifle ?
Really, really sad.
I hope people don't equate this kind of hatred with homeschooling, because the two don't naturally go together. During the 8 years we spent homeschooling, my kids met a variety of people of all races, ages, incomes, and abilities.
Now they're in public high school and doing great. Good grades, lots of friends, and nary a Nazi in the bunch.
How lucky for that family that their girls are blond and blue-eyed. What would it have done to their beliefs otherwise?
I lived in Germany for 8 years -- 3 in the early '50s and 5 in the mid-'60s. I saw Dachau BEFORE it was made into a museum -- as well as after. I have taken a small piece of the Berlin Wall as we all did then -- a symbolic tear-down. I've seen punishment meted out to a young East German soldier whose 'crime' was flirting with American girls on a train. I was frightened severely at the demonstration of power shown by East German guards toward a mouthy 17-year-old (me) on the 'wrong' side of Checkpoint Charlie.
I've studied the Holocaust through literature and history trying to see the humans behind those terrible acts. There is no humanity there.
And there is no humanity in monsters who teach this ugliness and evil to their children.
This is a truly horrifing story. One can only hope that through their exposure to a greater world than their parents' they will see how twisted their views are. And good gawd, Lamb and Lynx??? What were they thinking?
I had already seen this over at Courtney's, but there I saw a picture of two sweet young blue eyed teens wearing Hitler smiley shirts.
And Ballpoint's comment notwithstanding, most of the people I've run across who homeschool do it for religious/racist reasons.
Hmm. Normal teenage rebellion may set in and save them. But in this case, there's no telling what they'll rebel against.
