Gravatar Guys like Randy need to be taught a lesson on how to treat customers - or even potential customers, but they are clueless, usually. I don't think you need assertiveness training; just call others until you get a good response.


Gravatar So you call Randy, leave a message and tell him you're getting a 'quote' from another company.

He'll assume you want an entirely new system- so he'll call back.

When he does, apologize profusely- but hey, you had to go with someone else, because they called back- it's cold and you couldn't wait forever.

That will have him eating mac and cheese for week.
