I agree with you about the green bean casserole! I really don't like it at all.

Sounds as if you had a good Thanksgiving weekend. My family members never stay long enough to suit me either, but they can't help having jobs to go home to.

To each his or her own, but I like green bean casserole. And so does my daughter (14) and she actually made a double batch (with my help) to take to Thanksgiving at my inlaws. So it's not just a delicious dish, it's a growth experience, too!

You mean, the green bean casserole with the crunch onion ring thingies on top? I never thought that was so bad.

What I hate: sweet potatoes with marshmallow topping. Yuck-o. Sweet potatoes with butter, ginger, garlic, salt & pepper are much, much better.

I like green bean casserole but only with fresh green beans. I am not, however, slavishly devoted to it and can respect your dislike. (I'm the same about sweet potato/yam anything. To each their own, right?)
