So your professor made an entire pie based on what chemicals and coloring agents were listed in the ingredients?
I gotta try this.
Great blog, spent 30 minutes reading it.

My theory is that there are three things that make foods taste good: Fat, Salt, and Sugar -- all of which I partake of freely.
Of course, these are the very things I am supposed to be cutting down on in my diet. One of these days I'm actually going to have to do it. -- Pass the cardboard, please!

I've always wondered how they got five cups of milk into one slice of Kraft american cheese. Care to explain that one too?

Yep, my three food groups are fat, salt and sugar. Fat never bothers me, as I eat a Bojangles chicken biscuit nearly everyday. Once in a while I remember that my mom died of gallbladder disease, which she got from eating wayyyyy too much fat, and then I go right back to my biscuit. Think I'll ever regret it?

Ah Lemon Merangue Pie, one of the few things I actually bake from scratch. Not that I do it very often you understand, it's too gorgeous for words and I gain weight just looking at one.

I vote for fat, especially pork fat. Disregarding the fact that I've seen a picture of your very young toddler feasting on a bowl of m&m's, you are the woman who thinks Hostess SnowBalls are food when, in reality, they are Burl Ives on that creepy old Rudolph Christmas special. Mamacita- nothing good comes of you discussing nutrition. Let's just get down to it and discuss FOOD: Chinese, twinkies, fat. And then we can plan lunch.
Hope all is well.

Mmm, broth. Reminds me of my favorite dish, it's kind of like chicken and dumplings in broth with sliced potatoes cooked in. Oh now I'm making myself drool! ,
