Tell me what you really think.

Gravatar at least you don't run around the house wondering where the phone is when it rings.

Gravatar but cute

Gravatar Habits are hard to break!

Around here, our cordless phones tend to disappear into some uncharted black hole. That is why we always keep at least one phone-on-a-leash.

Gravatar hehe - phone-on-a-leash. Forbidden words here. We don't need no stinkin leashes!

Gravatar i'll tell you why you don't lose the phone.

So you don't walk clear across the house and leave the phone there, causing yourself to miss the phone next time it rings.

Like me.

Mamacita's instincts are a right on.

Gravatar You can do this, Mamacita. Next week, aim for three feet away from the wall, and the following week four feet, and so on. When you get so far away that you lose the connection to the base, you're probably halfway to town and need to move back.

Gravatar Or is it...weird people are so old?

**grin**

Gravatar I don't even have a phone in my office anymore (cries) Last night I found out that our chinchilla had cut the cables AGAIN! only this time the beast had been more thorough and cut it in three places instead of just one.
My youngest son had been leaving cordless phones all around the house so that we could never find any... I bought him his own phone and that fixed the problem.
And my oldest never comes to the phone... I bought HIM a phone and put it on his desk so he wouldn't have to walk... He took it apart.
We really are a weird family.

Gravatar I stand near the base. 1) I might go out of range and drop the call -- which would never happen because it has a range of 100ft or something crazy. and 2) I'll be in trouble if I don't put the phone back on the base.

Gravatar Oh but then to many I am old too!

Gravatar So is this another vice we are going to need to address when we see each other again!! LOLOLOLOLOLOLOL

Gravatar

Gravatar I just got my first cordless phone, and it is currently charging ... but I bet I do the same as you.
My parents got a hands-free phone, so they can wander around, still do stuff, without having to stand with a phone ... yet, what do they do ... they stand directly over the phone unit and yell into it. Pointless, I say !!!
Take care,
Meow
