I haven't seen "Mixed Nuts". Should I? Steve Martin's enormous talent was almost wasted in "Cheaper by the Dozen-II". Yes, we went and it wasn't.
Sure, you guarantee the real bed. But I don't see that guarantee written in blood by "THE MAN WHO NEEDS TO GO GET IT AND SET IT UP AND WHO HAS IT VAGUELY IN HIS MEMORY THAT THIS IS SOMETHING HIS WIFE WANTS HIM TO DO."
I do not want you to decorate 'normally'. You are awesome! Who wants to be normal when you can be you.
Why be normal ?? That's so common. Be who you want to be, and be proud of it, I say !!

And, by the way, I thought I was the only person in the world who ever saw Mixed Nuts. Watching it is a yearly Christmas tradition in our house along with The Snowman (lovely), Charlie Brown (of course), Elf (new addition), Home for the Holidays (another quirky funny film) and A Christmas Story (You'll put your eye out, kid!). So funny!
But, why did you let it get so freakin' COLD? Just because it's January? JEEZE!

Nothing wrong with eclectic decorating you know-I think "grown-up" is in the eye of the beholder.
your house looks like my house! (thank God, i thought i was the only one.) and Mixed Nuts? a total family favorite here! we just got it on dvd since the vhs was showing signs of wear. i'm also into finding films that the big kids liked when they were little kids. The Last Unicorn was a BIG score here recently. be true to yourself, sweetie, you're worth it!
