Tell me what you really think.

Gravatar TSK! TSK! TSK! Mamacita, you just HAVE to take care of yourself!

Gravatar I had a crappy night's sleep last night ... too many cans of diet Pepsi ... the caffeine kept me awake most of the night. I can really relate to your post today Oh well, the stuff tastes really good, though !! Take care, Meow

Gravatar You and my mom. She is diabetic. Always trying to sneak bread, cookies, all the stuff she can't have. I catch her. At a luncheon I went to get her plate and when I got back she and the other grandmothers were tittering. She looked guilty. I asked if she had eaten a bite of the cake. She said "No!", but when she opened her mouth to do so, I could see the bright blue color of the icing. She's worse than a four year old sometimes.

BTW, where in southern Indiana are you. I was born in Bedford, folks lived in Oolitic at the time (bet I butchered that spelling) and my dad has a lot of family just south of Effingham, IL in a four corners called Bible Grove.

Gravatar I wish I had known, I was bouncing last night, too!

Gravatar Oh my goodness - I hope you got some rest last night. I won't yell, but...you know.

I've got just the opposite problem - hypoglycemia. If I don't have enough carbs to eat, I pass out. Fainting is probably my biggest talent.

Gravatar I'm telling.

Gravatar No yelling, just the advice that a 30 minute walk (or two 15 minute walks) will really help the blood sugar, even when you eat chocolate chip cookies!

Gravatar I would kill right now for a cookie made with Splenda. But would it be worth it?

I need to know.

Gravatar To reiterate an earlier comment: You need to be nicer to yourself. You deserve it, more than anyone else I know.

Gravatar Do you need to come here and have a talk?

Gravatar I would never yell at Mamacita. Yoga lowers blood sugar AND reduces cravings.
