I wish I could help but I am a computer illiterate beyond the basics.

Try starting your computer in "safe mode." As it's starting up, press your F8 button, and you can then go in your directory and delte it.
Do a Google search on starting in the safe mode for more info.
Good luck!

Odysseus' subterfuge:
What could be worse?
Than Virgil's Aeneid
And the Trojan horse?
The minute I laid eyes on you
My Roman days were over.
Though a Spartan I be,
This is all Greek to me.

start in safe mode and delete the file... (F8 when you turn your machine on and choose just regular Safe Mode). Then delete the file.
Reboot your machine and run a scan from www.ewido.com

Safe mode might work. I am not very good with computer problems; I just call my nephew.

I downloaded a virus scanner off the internet and it took care of my trojan problem. I went to www.avast.com and downloaded their free home version. It worked wonders for my computer. Hope it helps.

Ouch - it appears this is a fairly new trojan and not much information is online for removal. I found one site, one entry:
http://forum.majorgeeks.com/show...b07f526&
t=94946
and you'll see, it involves a registry fix (like removing most trojans) - tricky stuff and potentially harmful. Remember to copy/paste your registry entries into notepad so you can copy/paste your entries back into your registry in case you screw something up.
The fact that HijackThis doesn't fix it tells me that this is a newer bug.
If I had your phone #, I'd call!!!

I wish I had seen this post earlier. Last week I had to remove a nasty browser hijacker from my sister's computer. The usual tools, Adaware and SpyBot couldn't get it. Surprisingly, Microsoft has a fairly good malware remover called Windows Defender, which removed the infection.
Jennifer is also right about Avast. It is much better than Norton or McAfee and its free to boot!
