Tell me what you really think.

Gravatar OOHH a home visit would ROCK!
We just got back. My blog is down but I wanted to tell you how much I adore ya and missed reading your blog while I was gone.
Now about Bridget Jones...sorry but I would have to disagree with you. The whine doesn't get me because I have a 4 year old and a 9 year old. She holds nothing to them at times. (even though they are perfect angels) I liked it. I didn't love it.

Gravatar I feel exactly how you feel about all of those men (sigh)...
But I hve to agree with you about Bridget Jones, especially the sequel. I liked the first one the first time I saw it, but on repeated viewings I can't help but wonder how anyone could find the Bridget character attractive. Hugh and Colin (especially Colin) make the first one tolerable. Even they couldn't save the sequel though.

Gravatar I didn't HATE Bridget Jones...but I have to say that it's not my favorite. Or even in the top 100. I find that if you turn the sound off the movie is much improved because then you can concentrate on the IMPORTANT things, like the hotness of Colin and Hugh.

And seriously. What is it about those Hughs? Hugh Grant. Hugh Laurie. Hugh Jackman.
YUM.

And Alan Rickman? OH.OH.OH. That voice. It does things to my heart.

Gravatar I barely remember seeing Bridget Jones, but I do remember that I wondered why any man would be with her for longer than 2 days.

Gravatar Now now...

See, I read the first Bridget Jones book, and roared at times. Well, "roared" might be an exaggeration. I laughed out loud. The book was charming, and... importantly, the first chick-lit book I read (before the whole premise of it became tired).

The movie,as usual, didn't do the book justice, but on the other hand, I went with my teacher friend on a Friday afternoon to see it.

I probably love any movie forever that I see on those Friday-after-a-long-school-week afternoons.

I do love Colin Firth, really I do.
