Tell me what you really think.

Gravatar Solidifying my status as the Alpha Nerd here...

One of my (few) regrets at not actually being a high school band director is that I never got to do my Rocky Horror Field Show.

The plan was to divide the band in half - half the band would do a fairly straight-ahead, if humorous, RH show, and the other half was going to be the audience.

Alas and alack, music theory and college teaching called.

Gravatar Don't forget the party hats....or newspapers...or toast!!!

People think I'm odd when I say my two favorite movies are Rocky Horror and Princess Bride.

What's wrong with those people??

Gravatar I'm starting to think we are long lost sisters.

I played in a group called "Sins of the Flesh" usually as Columbia (I was 17 then) and sometimes I filled in for whever was not there that night-including Frank lol

I can't recall how many times I saw it but I worked as an usher at the theater that my group performed at and there were too many nights that I would sneak in for the showing and do a dance or two :O) Great fun.

My own daughters are "virgins" (better be!!) but I think they'll stay that way. There's only one theater around here that still does the midnight showing and I do NOT want my girls around girls like me haha!

Maybe if I go with them...hmmmm that would be a good excuse! "I'm only going to keep an eye on THEM!"

Gravatar Now I know we are related. I was married and had kids before I went Rocky the first time. Went every weekend for a year, until they yanked it.

Sigh

Gravatar Oh my YES! I love this film. One of my all time favourite film moments comes from this. It's the bit when Frank first appears in the lift. I still end up on the edge of my seat and then instantly turn into a dribbly mass the moment he starts singing.

BTW Tim Curry is still one of my favourite actors, not so much for his looks (although he is cute) but that voice... *shivers*

Gravatar Oh, Kitty, you are so right! Just listen to the voice. Yummy.

Both of my husbands had lovely, slightly raspy baritones. I blame it on being addicted to Perry Mason as a kid.

Gravatar I'll always hold a special place in my heart for Rocky Horror. Not only does it star the fabulous Tim Curry, it has a song written all about...me!

Gravatar During my first year of college we went practically every weekend.

Gravatar I refuse to even admit how many midnight shows of this I saw. I'm not sure I could count that high either.

I never had a costume, but I did usually bring cards.

Gravatar Did you get to see Tim Curry in Spamalot?
He was excellent
