We are alike with that clutter thing. I hate it, and I don't see how people can live with clutter. Dust I can handle, but it better not be dusty clutter!

On the topic of the empty, uncluttered room:
I would probably make three additions... First, a comfortable chair or couch on which to sit. Second, a metric crap-load of sound deadening material to insulate the room from outside noise. and Third, a music-playback device to complete the "escape-from-the-world-room"
