Nothing makes sense, does it?

I wasn't able to glean what your ban books list was (meaning, I don't know if you are banning them, mocking others who ban them, or simply reposting the list that the American Library Association puts up every year) but your argument regarding the ability of administrators to compose a decent memo or letter is spot on. That "thing" you posted a picture of would have made my hair stand up. How on Earth can you esteem a superior at work who is obviously ignorant?

How in heck do people like him get promoted to the Principal's job anyway? Is it the perfect example of the Peter Principle???

What gets me is how it is always the people who make the big decisions that always seem to be the most disconnected about everything. What you've just described sounds like the sort of experiences I had last year in my previous teaching job. Micromanaging the small things... and picking things that shouldn't matter to them to focus on. It would be nice if more administrators would actually deal with the real problems that plagued their schools, instead of doing dumb stuff like that.

And you already know my views on mocking memos and "writing assignments" constructed by teachers and such...
I heart you.
