OK well start with bose speakers, they're singularly the worst speakers in the industry no matter the size (I have worked in an acoustical lab before and we had the data, besides the fact that they just sound bad.) It's a testament to what you can do with a good marketing department.
When it comes to stereo equipment, older is frequently better. None of the small speakers are actually any good, they're designed to provide "ambiance" to a decent sound system. Again, anything else you hear is marketing, unless you believe the world only has high pitched sounds.
Bigger speakers are still better, if they're built right (almost never as it turns out.) For purposes of this discussion, I'm talking about listening to music as it would sound on a sound stage. Bose is actually quite good at "movie" type surround sound set ups, but then, the acoustic requirements of you dropping a plate on the floor aren't exactly precise. Which is why all of the good speaker manufacturers were late to the market.
Yeah I know, I'm a sound snob, the good news is you can buy a really really good system for a lot less than Bose charges.
Marketing. It may be the ruin of us all.
And I sorta apologize for the rant, and to the Bose owners.

I have an old stereo record/tape player and radio with speakers that size (about 2' tall). It still works very well, but I keep it in a closet because it is too big for anywhere else. I also have a Bose radio and the sound is fabulous. We have a CD player connected through the Bose speakers and that is fabulous too. So, Tommy, what are you saying?
Mamacita, GO TO BED!
If you put your photos on Picasa, you can post from there. I have only had a problem once when trying to post photos from Picasa.

I also had the "no picture" problem.
I downloaded Firefox, and the problem is no more.
