Tell me what you really think.

Right. I had seen that unretouched real life photo of her before and thought, wow! a real person! Good on you, Jamie Lee! I also thought that I wouldn't be caught dead posing in my underwear for a magazine. Then I remembered I sent a picture of myself essentially in the altogether- well, I had a few autumn leaves strewn here and there, mostly in my hair- to fellow members of BCMA (Book Club, My Ass)on my 50th birthday. WHAT was I thinking?
And right about sons, too. I wonder if men think the world is divided into wives and beautiful models?
Pith is good. Goes well with other autumn delights like pumpkin, acorn squash, leeks...love you, Jane!

Okay- I'm back after watching all of the photo retouching videos and that raises another question I think about all of the time when I take/post/print photos. I never photoshop them but most people do photoshop their pictures, including those of the natural world. And I always wonder-do those really look better? When did we start thinking it was so important to improve on Mother Nature?
Okay, I'm done. But chuckling at Denise.

I've read MORE ever since it came out and I love the fact that Jamie lets us know it's OK to age. No matter how hard you try, how skinny you are, or how many surgeries you have you'll never look 21 again. I'll be 51 in a few weeks and I say the hell with it, I look good for a "woman of a certain age". Although I draw the line at posting pics of me in my undies..........
