OK, I'll bear that in mind. Why do you need two computers? Do you keep one to check up on the other?
I don't trust 'em either.
Here the majority either have a hearing aid, or need one and not only do knockings on doors go unheeded, so do phones, and doorbells.
Besides, those UPS guys "ring and run" faster than deer crossing the road at dusk.
I could have written this, Mamacita. I need a hearing aid badly, but I won't get one until I can afford the state of the art (which will be never). I miss delivery guys frequently.....oh, well....

Last Christmas our door bell was not working, and so the postman didn't leave our packages (like he's done every single other year) when we didn't answer. So we had to open gifts late after standing in line the day after Christmas. But I agree with you...if there's a doorbell, they should use that!
We have a "bell out of order, please knock" sign because our doorbell is so wimpy, we hear the knocking much better. Maybe you need a "door out of order, please ring" sign. . .
