I hope that I never get too old for anticipating holiday magic!!! Also, I want to try some of the persimmon pudding and I'm certain we don't get those here - could you send some FedEx overnight?

Too old? No, but sometimes we get a little jaded about it (when we have to decorate so many other people's homes and clubs).

I have never eaten persimmon in any form. Maybe I'll remedy that if I can just find some to buy...LOL

Thanks for posting that recipe. I am sending it to my Mom in Alabama. Her and Dad have a persimmon tree in their yard! Oh yeah, I was the butt of the old, "eat the green one, it's ripe" joke. I didn't taste another persimmon for years after that.
