Tell me what you really think.

Gravatar I had a little trouble getting into the holiday spirit since it was 72 degrees. I opted to rakes more lvease instead of putting up the lights. It has to be cold for that...sheesh!

Gravatar The one thing I really like about cafeteria duty is that I get to enforce my own bit of frontier justice on line-cutters-- there will be NO line-cutting on my watch, thank you, not even from the idiot girls who claimed they had been in line at the front all along and had just stepped away for a minute and whaddaya mean we gotta go to the back of the line that's not fair man that's whack hey what are all the rest of you people laughin' at and clapping for I hate this school I'm just not gonna eat lunch then so there....

Makes me teary eyed just thinking about it.

Gravatar It would take a lot of money (on the order of a couple million dollars) to get me near a store today.

Oh, yes. What footprints on the moon? Did I miss something? Again?

Gravatar Heh, heh. I AM chuckling because of that one!

I wouldn't have gone to a store today if they offered to pay me for it - but, of course, I had to work - so I had a good excuse.

Gravatar Internet shopping ROWKS! No lines, no shopping cart banged legs. No temper fits in a store.........

Gravatar A little old lady purchasing bleach and a stuffed Santa tried to cut in front of me at the drug store last week. What could I do but be polite and say, "Would you like to go ahead of me?" I'm still bitter about it though. If it would have been some enabling mommy, I probably would have been snide.

I fought the crowds today. I walked out of one store because the deals weren't THAT good. I stood in line for 1/2 hour at JC Penney's, though, for some 60% off dress shirts for hubby. I'm pleased with my deals, but the thought did enter my mind a few times that maybe it wasn't worth it.

Gravatar First of all, Thank You Soooo Much for the very dear sweet comment....I dearly dearly appreciate your words. Mamacita, my dear...

Second....I NEVER go to stores anymore because of my Health Issues...and I do EVERYTHING on line,,(Thank God I Can!!)..AND,It is really wonderful, beyond belief! It Is THE BEST!.....

And

Third, I Usually Capitalize things other people don't...like Autumn, Winter, Spring and Summer....I don't know about what's right or wrong grammatically speaking....I just do what my heart dictates and my heart says: The Seasons Of The Year Deserve To Be Capitalized....Like This Sentence...Just cause it feels right to me.
HUGS!!!!

Gravatar As usual, I am in agreement with you. Shopping in brick-and-mortar stores AND line cutters both kill my Christmas buzz and I don't like buzz killers!

Gravatar I almost turned into one of the mothers for a Furby one year. My daughter wanted one so bad. We had just moved to a new town in a new state and was trying to set up house. I just didn't have the $200 to lay down for one of those things back then. But I wanted to. I really really wanted to. My daughter woke up crying on Christmas morning telling me she doesn't believe that there is a Santa Clause anymore because if there WAS a Santa and elves, he would have brought her a furby. She broke my heart and it still makes me want to cry.

Gravatar you are my favorite grown-up blogger! happy holiday season to you. and i love mannheim steamroller too!
