Tell me what you really think.

In 23 years, there have only been 3 or 4 Christmas mornings when the Boy has woken up before us. Even when he was a tiny thing, and all excited about Santa coming and getting to open presents, he'd sleep until 8 or 9. I don't think I've ever been woken before 7 a.m. by an excited little kid.
I'm done shopping, but I'm not finished. I'm never finished. I generally hate shopping, but I *love* Christmas shopping...even the cats are getting spoiled this year.

I love watching the tree lights in the dark. When the boys were little, we would read a Christmas story every night of December by the light of the tree. Too bad they're too old for that now. I miss it.
Maybe I'll just start doing it for myself.

Tree lights in the dark are magical!
Anticipation is always better than the event, isn't it? Sure has been in my life.
I loved the video, especially when the little girl stood on the piano and "led" the orchestra!

I sit and stare at the tree all the time. My kids think it's hilarious.

Bizarre. I thought I was the only one in the world who like the anticipation more than the actual event. I love the last week of each semester, even if it means grading essays. I love Fridays, even if it means pep rallies.
Likewise, I hate August and Sundays.
