(BTW, you can't drive away here in CA because you can't pump until you either pay the clerk in advance or use your credit card at the pump. Very effective and I don't understand why every station everywhere doesn't do that.)

Like Denise in California, in Texas you can't pump until you pay. The money they'd have to spend to have that feature added would far outweigh what they're losing on drive-aways.

I don't know anyone who does that, but if I did, I'd report them.

We are currently paying $2.30 for low test, but I am sure it will go up again soon.
