Mamacita, I am certain (without ever having seen you) that your beauty and kindness and intelligence shine through your eyes and probably the rest of you, too. I doubt that you are as hard on the eyes as you pretend or think yourself to be. If people pre-judge you, me or anyone else because of the way we look, then the fault lies within them - not us.

Delurking here to say that I wish my kids had you for a teacher - their english teachers are ok but uninspired about content, grammar, and spelling. Hmmmm....... You are a great teacher in the classroom as well as here on your blog. Keep up the good work!
