I've been having a lot of trouble with the new blogger and Picasa, and I haven't gotten an answer, so don't hold your breath (I'm sorry to say).

Hmmm...I'm not having any problems with Blogger and Firefox. Perhaps a re-install of Firefox...?

THe problem I suspect, is BLogger itself. I abandoned blogger about a year ago in favor of Wordpress; blogger text read weird on Firefox; all appeals I made to blogger for assistance were ignored. I rapidly grew tired of blogger's perfidy.
I'm no flack for wordpress, but I've sure been much happier there, AND I was able to easily archive my old blogger material on wordpress.
Just a thought.

Continued. .
However, I have not had as great success in managing sidebar material at Wordpress. But then again, I do not pay for premium services that might make sidebar management a whole lot easier.

The Blogger/Firefox combo seems functional here.

Out of curiosity, have you tried emptying out your cookies and cache in Firefox? Blogger being a Google product, and knowing this has helped me solve problems with other Google products in the past, it just may help.

Yes, empty cache and cookies, definitely as a start. In fact (assuming you're using a recent version of Firefox), under "Tools", you should select the "Clear Private data" option and clear everything out. But only do that if you're sure you remember the passwords to websites you visit that require them (like banks, credit card places, web email pages, etc.) because those'll be wiped out too.
You may also want to go into the Options and add your blog's URL to the "Exceptions" list and make sure it's set to "Allow".
Now, all that assumes this is a cookie or cache problem. Do other blogs give you trouble when you visit them?
