Reminds me so much of BCMA (Book Club My Ass). I almost hate to move on from the post/discussion below- I was savoring that one. And let me say this: because I consider us good friends who will take up right where we have yet to leave off, I am not the least bit intimidated by your grammar nazi self. Get out your red pen! See if I care. I figure I'll get some blackmail material soon enough.
I love the image of you and the girls all dining on Chinese!

Shoney's has Chinese? Huh?
I have some friends from back in the day too, and I treasure them. We're lucky, aren't we?

It sounds like you all had a grand time....Nothing like old friends to warm the heart and remind you of another time---yet, sharing things in the present, too....
I have three friends from High School days----one of them I've known since Kindergarten---so that makes it 75 years!!!! And it is as you describe, including the roads we all traveled that were different....But, there is still that bond....Wonderful, isn't it?

I spent Friday night with old friends too. We were celebrating my birthday--three months late, but that is ok. We celebrate everyone's birthday late. It is just so great to be together! There is nothing like a night out with the gang!

What a great post. The girls from my high school class get together for lunch about once every three months. It's wonderful. Many of us went to school together from kindergarten.

Ah, yes..."quilling" with Janice and listening to "Julie, Julie, Julie, do you love me?"...! Thanks for dragging an obnoxious 7-year old with you and your friends whilst trying to pick up boys. Many life lessons learned there! Good thing Mom didn't know what was going on.
