Tell me what you really think.

Gravatar Awesome job! Thanks for all of the time and effort you put into this. I know it ain't easy.

Gravatar I loved the way you handled the sale entries! I didn't know what to do with them when I hosted, especially that pesky one that sent me an entry everyday. Great Carnival and thanks for including my post.

Gravatar A resounding "BRAVA" on your first Edu-Carnival, Jane and thanks for linking to The Laurie.

Happy Hump Day,
LK

Gravatar Mamacita! Thanks for the donuts and the extremely bad flashback to being professionally developed--and for including "Teacher in a Strange Land."

What I liked most, however, was your mini-rant about all the commercial submissions to the Carnival, which should be a marketplace of ideas only. Or so I think.

Nancy

Gravatar Your commentary is priceless, Mamacita!

Gravatar Most students who graduate with a Online Special Education Degree will go into teaching positions in public and private schools. They will work closely with students who have special needs to help meet their individual requirements and to build an effective and rewarding curriculum. http://online-special-education- degrees.blogspot.com

Gravatar Great hosting. Well done and a massive thanks for posting two -yes, two! - of my entries.

Gravatar The link to my "Diversifying the Literary Canon" piece should point to http://calebteaches.wordpress.co...literary-canon/

Thanks in advance for fixing the link!

Gravatar Nifty narrative!
Interesting inmates!
Hamshackling homework!

*dons duncecap for disregarding directions*

Gravatar WOW - great job on a very large carnival. Thank you for your kind words about my entry.

Best,

Suzanne

Gravatar Mamacita: Thanks so much for hosting the Carnival this week, and for the lovely mention, Alanis and all! I've got one HYSTERICAL snap on my post this afternoon, if you have time to scoot over to see. I thought of you when I included it!!

Gravatar Um, looks like Mr. Teacher got in ahead of me, but MISTER Teacher here... I was a little confused there, thinking I had turned in 3 entries!! But thanks for including my one!

And I so know what you mean about those paper-writing institutes! Sorry, "Ian," but I am NOT going to run your 12 entries!!!
Nice rant about that.

Gravatar Great Carnival!

I had no idea that carnivals got spammed, too -- though I should have expected it.

Perhaps I'll have something to offer next time you host!

Gravatar Great in-service, sis! But when are we going to break into small groups and discuss Best Practices?? And Four-Block? And Everyday Math? And, my favorite: how I plan to integrate all ACADEMIC (ahem) disciplines into MY music classroom?!

Gravatar Best into ever--and so true.

Wonderful job!!!

Now take a break and come by to say Hi! and the Jane Wagner thread. We have taken it over as a place to hang out and say Hi and give each other support. Over 1000 comments so far!

We even meet at Lily of the Valley's place at night. She serves drinks

Gravatar You rock, Jane!! Great carnival!

Gravatar Ooooh ooooh! I didn't know you were hosting it this week! How cool is that? And, a letter from my homeschooling hero, Bonnie! I read the letter and skimmed through everything else; I will have to come back and read the entries. I can't wait!

Gravatar Fab-u-lous Carnival! Thanks so much for hosting!

Gravatar Well done!!! I want to host one sometime myself, but it looks like a lot of work. You rocked it!!! And I loved the way you handled the sales pitches...superstar.

Gravatar BTW, don't forget my Silly Sunday Sweepstakes tomorrow--I've got a pretty funny snap this week!

Gravatar Well, first of all I dint' know this was/were an on-going (going on) thing. So thats' why I didnt' kno the rools. That Bonnies' sumthin'g else, hah?

Lemme say, though, that what you did was a labor of love (I think so). Tremendous what you do for others, and for your profession. Love you too.

Gravatar I finally have to break down and ask. Did the Education Wonks blog just die? It does not seem to be updated since June. Or did they move and not tell anyone? I have followed the Carnival of Ed. religiously, and suddenly it is gone from my feed reader. I managed to find this one because I followed the link from the previous carnival, the link to that showing up on Blog Carnival listings (which by the way, seems BC is no longer keeping track of the carnival either). What gives? Just want to know so I can tweak the feed reader and keep following the Carnival of Ed., which is always great reading.
