I hope Charley lives forever. I have heard of two dogs dying this week; one a blog dog and one the sweet animal of friends of mine. It is just too sad when they die.
I think I need Skype!
Well, amortized over his various lifetimes thus far, it's mere pennies. And frankly, I'm such a cat person, I'm happy to help so let me know if you need me to start a charitable trust for Charlie Gordon with a link to PayPal.
Skype is the best! It's the way I talk with my family when they are out and about. All four of us (3 because we use Macs and one because his office funded it for his PC) have cameras, too! You can see each other and take little guided tours of what's going on in the kitchen. Oh, the horror, I mean delight, in that! E-mail me your skype name and we can hook up, so to speak.

Give the kitty some lovin' from me! He likes it when you kind of mush his ears around. And he likes it when you sit on the couch and let him sleep on you. Good kitty.
I remember making $15 K a year and spending $1500 on my elderly dog's hospitalization.
It may have been idiotic, but I don't regret it.

Never in my wildest dreams would I have ever thought I would pay $160 to get a cat's teeth cleaned so he would not lose one or two or possibly get blood poisoning from the tartar.
Still...there he sits...with bright white, shiny teeth. Well, at least his breath is better now.

Skype and a cam have proven absolutely invaluable in getting through a year of a long-distance relationship. I also got rid of my land line and use it to call my mom in the UK. Great invention.
