Do you know the song Romp Shaker, mamacita? My big brother told me about it, but I'm not sure I want to see the video, specially if it shows salt falling out of someones butt!
Nice to see that you're still blogging!

I have also done this... not the Christmas decorations... well, at least not for many years now. Oh, and not salt shakers..but..
Valentines. I bought valentines for my daughter to give her classmates. They were the "After Valentine's Day Sale at Current" type. When they arrived I put them (now say it all together)..IN A SAFE PLACE. Sure enough, Valentine's Day rolls around again and I DO remember that I bought them last year but only God and the Valentine's know where they are. Did I ever find them? Yes, five years later! But they were safe.

Tis a gift if it's free? I have some swell pelican salt and pepper shakers I'll send along.
And you would like one of the nominated filsm very much: Little Miss Sunshine.

It's a gift to be free, too, and your Christmas shakers are free-- versus having to go out and buy new ones.

When you find a shaker you like, put scotch tape over half the holes. It works.
