Tell me what you really think.

See-told you it would go great! San Francisco sounds like an adventure; I hope the city survived the convention. A lip ring would be NICE.

Ouch to the toothpick! I once tripped on a ladder (to a bunkbed) and managed to put my lower teeth completely through my lower mid-chin area. I still have a scar (inside and out), but my mom didn't think to take me to get stitches in the GAP in my face. *laughs* She admits now that she probably should have but just didn't think of it (and we lived way out in the middle of nowhere on a farm). I think of the scars as battle wounds from growing up with my mom. *winks*
Sadly, lip rings weren't "in" back when I did it, and I don't think anyone would have approved of a kid having one. On the bright side, I would have been fine for a spacer without having to go through the whole stretching my lip out along the way. :D Maybe by now I'd have had a whole plate in there!

It was so great meeting you, Jane.
I did spot that toothpick inside the Sunday sandwich. I too was trying to avoid bread and pasta so I was fortunate to find the toothpick because I was removing the bread to eat what was inside. I'm so sorry to hear that happened to you.
The plus for me on Sunday was that they finally had cereal including Cheerios for breakfast. I mean, who can eat those muffins?
Definitely agree with you about the shower. Two heads! Way to go!
Hate to say it but orange juice tastes good but is very high on the glycemic index. I had to give that up.
The best part of BlogHer was the energy of all those women in one place!!

You know, every blog I've read about BlogHer starts the same way. "I had a great time at BlogHer, but I'm so shy. It's really hard for me to talk to people. It was so overwhelming I had to go spend some quiet time in my room."
Geez. You'd think that everybody spent the whole gathering huddled under tables and bed covers. It's a wonder anyone can look anyone else in the eyes and say hello.
Sorry, I've just really needed to get that out of my system all week.

I enjoyed your comments at the Unconference and am sorry we didn't get a chance to chat.
I'm Type 1 diabetic and while I normally don't make a big deal about "I can't eat that" kind of stuff, it would have been nice to have slightly less carbs in the lunches.
I would never have pegged you as a shy person, but things are funny that way. I think no matter how outgoing a person is three days of 1000 creative people is overwhelming!
Hope to see you in 2009!

SHY? I beg to differ.
So where is BlogHer next year? I think I need a vacation!!
Sounds like a great time.

Ughhh...the toothpick, yikes! How did I miss that? We spoke briefly on Sunday- your computer was a good conversation starter! Good to have met you!
I'm with you with the oj- I tossed a glass down while I stood at the buffet table, so I didn't have to carry it. It was cold and good.
