Tell me what you really think.

Gravatar I think you should report them, Mamacita.

Gravatar I really, really hope that the girl doesn't lose her job (though, working for a place that would fire her for telling the truth may not be the best situation for her, anyway).

Has it occurred to ANYONE at CVS that all the people to whom they sold those early copies of the book likely still have their TIME AND DATE STAMPED receipts? Hell, most people are probably using those selfsame receipts as bookmarks. Computers are taking a lot of deniability out of the system, and I hope someone audits CVS and fires all the lie-telling managers...

Gravatar Maybe they will go with the "it's 5 'o clock somewhere" theory and say they thought it was 12:01 am on the Internation Dateline. Keep us up-to-date, I would love to know what happens to them.

Although probably nothing, since they aren't a huge book retailer. Maybe a fine, but unlike the big bookseller that did it, Scholastic can't say "no books for you".

Gravatar Why would they have started selling them early? Everyone in the entire world knew you had to wait until 12:01 and it was the perfect gimmick to get people in at what must normally be a very slower period at the store. Of course, you reap what you sow, so I'm sure the manager who authorized it will come to sadness eventually.

Gravatar Yet one more reason you should have your scripts transferred to Walgreens.

Gravatar I totally read some of the book early and wondered what the hell was going on!!! That is horrible that they are blatantly denying the whole thing!
