Mamacita, I read that story to my students every year at Christmas. The children's story/Christmas version doesn't end like this, but the story is still the story. I love it and the kids get it.

It was in our old lit book too. It is a great story. I teach a different grade now and I am not sure if it is in the new book. I will have to check. If it is not, I think I will have to use it myself again.
