Keda, you're a legend in your own lunchtime!i'm enjoying the blog so much that i'm probably in danger of losing my job - having been caught reading it twice when i was supposed to be doing the accounts... So, thanks for the film reviews. I thought I'd widen the scope for you and recommend a book and an album you might enjoy. 'The Lost Art of Keeping Secrets' by Eva Rice is a portrayal of a teenager in the fifties. It looks like chicklit from the outside but is actually really evocative and makes you feel like you were there - listening the Elvis for the first time (Keda I know you'll go for this), running with the deeply unsuitable 'teds' with their ducks arses, and drinking champagne in the Ritz at lunchtime. For auditory pleasure, try the new(ish) album 'Let it Die' from Feist. Female fronted jazz/pop/disco/easy listening. Its a pretty eclectic collection and features a version of the BeeGees 'Inside and Out' which I just love. You may have heard one of the original songs on the latest Lacoste advert (hums)"I've got a man who sticks it out, he makes a home from a rented house"..... Give it a go!
So anyway, keep up the good work Keda. Miss you and love you lots.... from the little sister x x x
