So Nice to Hear From You!

Gravatar I am too hungry to be reading here. lol!

Another lovely fruit tree! When I was small I thought I'd grow up to have an orchard of fruit trees, like my mother did. Ha! California, how you have changed...

Gravatar Warning: random old ladies wandering by your house with plastic shopping bags!

Gravatar I second the nomination for Lychee martinis. I recently has a frozen one and it was off the chain. You must try it at least once. So, I was trying to figure out where to buy Lychees in New York. I wish they were growing out of my back yard... wait i live on the 3rd floor and don't have a backyard. Do you think I can plant one in a huge flower pot?

Gravatar I don't know if you drink alcohol, but a lot of the upscale places around here serve lychee martinis for an exhorbitant amount of money. They are truly in demand!

I think lychee ice cream is big, too. Now if you don't do the dairy, maybe lychee ices?

Gravatar Wow!! You totally exposed me to something I have never seen before!!

What is the brown part on the inside?? The pit?? Is it hard/edible??

Wow would love to try and see what they taste like..wow!

Gravatar They used to sell a bottled water here that had lychee in it and, being from San Francisco, I loved it, but I think I was the only person who bought it so it isn't sold around here (in the UK) anymore. Bummer. Yours look lovely and I'm envious.

P.S. - I tagged you on my blog.

Gravatar Very interesting. Fresh makes lychee sprays, soaps and such. I read through the usual place, but didn't see fragrance as a use. I wonder if they use any part of the fruit in the production of their items...sounds like I will be doing a little more research!

Gravatar oh wow, those lychees look delicious!! I had a little chuckle at your 'squirrel tax' comment.

Gravatar Ohh, lychee! Yum to the max. We ate them compulsively in Vietnam.
