haha...and I thought ABCDs(american born confused desis) were weird when they got the confused look on their face once I told them that I was neither a punjabi, nor a gujrati, nor from south india. I am from U.P I said, and they said then what are you? haha...but seriously some people have the worst geography skills.... my mom was a geography PGT teacher in a school in Delhi, her coworker who taught accounts to 12 th graders was surprised when my mom told her that India was in Asia. She didnt think so, so my mom said to her why do you think we had the Asian games here...and she said "I dont know". Talk about ignorance.

similar incident when i moved from punjab to delhi...my classmates couldn't believe that my parents were not into farming and we don't commute on tractors...hats off to the ignorance and ages old geography syllabus/books and boring teachers...that's y many of us never liked geography.

Hi Red, I agree with you that most times teacher is responsible to make the subject boring. But I am absolutely lucky on that front. My Geography teacher was AMAZING
