got nostalgic about my days spent at varanasi. I spent hours sitting at dashaswamegh ghat in the mornings. Hope to witness "Lakhnau's" evenings soon.

Oh I am sure we will. I , for one, am finding these pieces extremely rivetting. Also, the nuggets of info that u give are great - eg, i didnt know u cud boat in Gomti...somehow i hd the image similar to our own Yamuna back in Delhi

Though i was in Lucknow for almost an year but that was in my early childhood. So i have no images of Lucknow in my mind.After that i went there just for a day, but now things are turning. So Lucknow is on my places to visit.

it was really wonderful to be in Lucknow , apna sahar though i dont belong this city , but it is very much like my own city mix of Delhi and my native place Khalilabad , the shaam of Hazrat Ganj is magnificent and , it Bful people and tehzeeb .
