I have lived in Lucknow for the majority of my childhood, and can really associate with the concept of ganjing. Lucknow is a wonderful city.
Nice blog!

Hi Manish,
Great to see someone writing about Lucknow and Gunjing!
I was there 1974-76 at Lucknow University. Since 1988, I am settled in the US.
We had good time and nice memorable days in LKO. Clarks Awadh ahd just opene up not long ago. Gunjing was great. Bobby movie ran at Mayfair for loooooonng time!
I went to LKO in 2005 (I am from Barabanki). I was a bit depressed to see my sweet town in relatively bad shape. I might have now different perception being in the US for more than 20 years, however it looked much more congested, very neglected city with unkept streets. i wish I could do something about it.
