I know its 9 years since I have visited IIT, but during our time, the book shop at the shopping center (behind Campus Restraunt) used to bring us anybook from Delhi or Lucknow, if it was not available.

In fact, I would also recommend - The Count Of Monte Cristo by Alexandre Dumas(http://www.online-literature.com/dumas/cristo/). An absolute good read.
