Nanny Goats Soap Box

Gravatar Love the punch line.

And on a serious note, I really like how you "spread the love" to other bloggers. Off to check out Drowsey Monkey now.

Gravatar There's a movie called "The Hit" starring John HURT and Terence STAMP.

Gravatar Good grief! I'm a hazard to myself and a danger in the kitchen, so...this would not be good for me! LOL Torpedo onions! Yikes!

Thanks for blogoversary wishes! I really appreciate it And yes, I finally updated my blogroll...but even before you were on there you were on my list of daily visits. Thanks!

Gravatar Oh jeez...Drowsey doesn't have a POT so how much damage could she do!?!?!?
Ya know, I just SMILE when I post a comment here 'cuz of that goat on the soap box! Really - that guy, or gal, is priceless!

Gravatar see, this is why I try to avoid the kitchen at all costs. too many confusing things in there. and now I have a great reason to avoid the farmers market! yay for me!

Gravatar Hi Margaret,

Have been quite busy of late so, couldn't visit you.But you make me feel lucky that I don't have to go through the hassles of cooking. :-P he eh I loved that logo in your side bar' We Blog Funny' Yes, you do.

Gravatar I'm just amazed you shop at a farmer's market. Never been. Sounds all healthy and stuff. Can't have any of that. But I'd go for the pictures. You know I'm all about taking pictures of my food.

And yea for DrowseyMonkey on her first birthday! Par-TAY!

Gravatar First I have to worry about violence on TV, now the farmers market...where next? Church? The Liquor store? I am not gong to be able to take my kids anywhere!

Gravatar We had those weird looking onions at the grocery store, but they were just thrown in with the purple onions. I did not, however, have the presence of mind to take a picture *grin*

Gravatar Only recently discovered you, but have been a regular since. You make my day.

Gravatar You say it's not okay, but you did it twice, so since you did it, is it okay? I really really really want to take pictures at my farmers market! Like, really bad.

Gravatar What is a JS kit???

Hello from Speedy! Fun to see all the nice folks that have linked to Drowsey's anniversary. She is my favorite

Thanks for your comment - see you later !!

Gravatar I frequent the farmers markets and I've never been shoved. Were you there right before closing time? I was enamoured with the pics of the onions and the squash blossoms..wish I would've taken them.
Lovely, wonderful, mouth-watering photos. But then, I do cook.

Gravatar You have a very sophisticated, yet violent, farmer's market! I think I'm too hillbilly for it.

Gravatar I envy you your farmer's market. We did have one, but it was so poorly organized that it closed up shop. Now there are just random places along the road to pick out a few vegetables or fruit. Harumph.

Gravatar Never ealized a farmer's market could be so eventful.

Gravatar I don't know, what do they call that underpass/frwy place now? They had avacados? They didn't at the EG farmers market. I've taken pics at the farmers market before. Of course there was a firetruck involved and firemen. Woooh Wooooh!

Gravatar My wife has a great recipe for squash blossoms stuffed with cheese, breaded, and deep fried. Mmmmmm! But very very messy!

Gravatar I think Brittany just gave you the next two photo shoot locations.

Gravatar I wish I had taken photos of the Portland Farmers Markets...the flowers were wonderful and it was just one of those fabulous places.

Gravatar Hi Margaret - I reckon one day somebody at the Farmers Market is going to start charging you for taking photos .... Can't say I ever remember to take my camera when I go shopping. Hahahaha

Those torpedo onions look scary - wow imagine how much crying you'll do when you peel those buggers ....

I have those flower thingies ... don't have a bloody clue as to what to do with them!

Gravatar 5 for $1 or $1 a bag.
How big are the bags, exactly?

Gravatar I was just scrolling down to ask the same question. Its almost like $1.00 a bag is for the smart foodies and 5 for $1.00 is for the poseurs.

Gravatar Hi
Thanks for visiting my site! I like this piece about scary combative names for veg. When we lived in the UK they called wax turnips "Swedes" do you think that is because they battled them, or because they turned the Swedes into a turnip mash?
