I didn't go to the gym when I had a membership for various reasons - one of them being the same as why I don't use the treadmill and BowFlex in the basement on anything resembling a regular basis. Another reason was that people didn't talk to me either - although I got plenty of looks. Looks that said, "What the HELL are you doing here? You're dumpy and pasty and out-of-shape!"

I mean, I clearly didn't BELONG there.

That's right Jan. Because the LAST place a dumpy, pasty, out-of-shape person should be is at the GYM!

I once belonged to a gym where women put on make-up in the locker room before going out there. And there was this one time where a woman was wearing her lap dog while on one of the machines. How long would it take you to guess that this was in L.A.?
