As one who grew up in Montana and Wyoming, I can so relate to this post. I am not sure I'll ever get used to this heat! Great post.

About those who plan outdoor events in Sacramento....do it before noon or after 7 for God's sake! That King of Feasts thing at the zoo nearly killed my ass last year...even the monkeys looked half-dead. My husband and I were stupid enough to do a BBQ event, mid-afternoon, last year. This year we are doing a pig roast party..to be served after 7 pm.
