Gravatar Thank you for the shout out Margaret. I am a coffee freak, and I used to love collecting the brown paper bags from Barista Coffee(a chain of Coffee shops in India). As soon as I used to get back home, I used to dump those bags under my mattress. I became so famous (nothing to be proud of)among my colleagues that when they used to think of brown bags, they used to think of me. Thankfully, I have got rid of this habit now.Ha!

Starbucks' is yet to open it's outlets in India.

Gravatar Hee.. I have those grocery bags too. It is amazing how something that is supposed to be good for the environment requires ANOTHER purchase...and makes you feel GUILTY on top of it.

Gravatar I added you to my favorite places on my blog. If it's not ok, let me know.

Gravatar My Dearest Crotchety Old Man Who Yells at Cars,

Please see salutation to this comment to immediately understand my opinion on the matter to which you refer. Pay most particular attention to the key word "dearest". It implies something along the lines of an adamant approval.

Nanny Goats

Gravatar Like Wonder Woman. Funny.

Gravatar Hey, it's the thought that counts right? And you're making a fashion statement. Double cool. Lurving the goats by the way.

Gravatar Yo, Nanny Goats, put the dang grocery bags and coffee sleeves in your CAR! Passenger seat! That's what I do. NOW.

Gravatar I keep forgetting them when I go to Trader Joes and Costco so I buy new ones. Trader Joes keeps making new cool ones and I have quite a variety of colorful bags. They're very handy for everything.

Gravatar Too funny! I might have to go to starbucks so I can be wonderwoman too!

And thanks for the comment at my blog. Sometimes I just need to hear it from someone else : )

Gravatar That cracks me up because that is totally something I would do. The thought of being eco-friendly at least counts for something, doesn't it?

Gravatar I like the idea of wearing them around the wrists ... to deflect stuff...lol

Gravatar hahaha. That looks like something that I would do again and again...

Gravatar OMG!!! I too have worn d' Buck's sleeve on my wrists to get my 10Cents off my next purchase. Hey whatever works........ Wonderwoman theme music now playing in my head.......

Gravatar when the starbucks first opened here they had the little sleeves for the cups, but they didn't just automatically hand them out. i wanted one once and tried to come up with what they might call it in turkish. i went with just trying to describe what i was talking about with my fabulous turkish ability. the young guy behind the counter said...sleeve? um...yeah...one of those.

Gravatar I like to take my reuseable shopping bags on drives around town. Never actually into the store, though. I mean, really - what's the point of getting old if you can't hoard a bunch of stuff that you're going to use "someday?"
