I hardly ever go to the theater. First of all, they're overpriced on everything! Are you kidding me? $10 for popcorn and a water? And I want coffee, or wine. Not soda. Is it too much to ask to have floors that aren't sticky with Lord knows what?!

we never go to the movies but do go to the theatre sometimes. my pet peeve there is people getting up right before the end to run for the valet parkers to be first and the poor actors don't get their proper applause at the end. makes me so mad! don't know if it is just florida or not, but i do see this on cruise ship shows too. they are trying to be first at the elevators. usually us old people. no manners...

Ditto for us. We seldom go to a film. If we do we wait till the rush is over and we choose films that we particularly want to see on a large screen. We prefer to watch the video at home where we can run it back if we miss a word (seems to happen more and more..what was that you said?)

When I lived in Texas , I can't tell you how many times I had to ask someone to remove his ball cap so I could see.

People are just as poorly behaved in concerts, plays, and opera performances. People who applaud at the end of a movement in a classical concert....and God save me from the standing ovations for every performance every time. Makes it meaningless when there is a truly special performance.

And, do you mean to tell me you've never been to a comicon or Star Trek convention??? You have got to go to one. Nerds are the best people to go to movies with, you're right! They even make waiting in line for hours seem like a fun thing to do.
