I took a tour of the State Capital back in August and remember seeing the Cafe when I mistakenly took the elevator to the basement. I was surprised that I could roam the Capital freely with my camera without any suspicion or security preventing me from taking photographs. Here are some images from that day.

Thanks for the best wishes and the comments and the links! I hadn't seen Janice's article yet, I'm so behind on blog reading, with everything going on...
My favourite Capitol memory is the time I went into the Exec. Council Chamber, then entered the famous "Corner Office" belonging to the Governor. (This happened a couple of governors ago, when a friend of mine--the Gov's Admin. Asst.--showed me around.)
